Abstract:

Length biased sampling occurs in many biomedical contexts. This talk will illustrate how length biased sampling arises in : (1) observational studies, (2) the planning and analysis of credible single therapy non-randomized clinical trials and (3) as an alternate model for modeling right censored observations.
