This panel will describe a novel approach that integrates just-in-time topics from developmental mathematics into the introductory statistics course to provide students with an alternative pathway through developmental mathematics and to and through college level introductory statistics. Panelists will address the need and vision for such a course. Video clips from an experimental version of an integrated class will be shown and panelists will discuss what they see happening in terms of student reasoning from both the introductory statistics and the developmental mathematics perspectives.
