Abstract:

Out of necessity, Biostatistics and IT have worked together for many years. In some instances the alliance has been positive and beneficial, and in others, there have been more challenges than we would like to admit. In this tight economy, IT continually tries prove itself and align better with business, and the business - i.e. biostatisticians - are trying to do more with less and always trying to decrease their time to market. These pressures require Statistics and IT to work together even more than ever before. This roundtable will give you an opportunity to hear multiple perspectives, to share lessons learned, and to take back ideas to help you collaborate better with IT.
