Abstract:

Clinical development is now commonly conducted in multiple regions and developed products are widely marketed to countries of various ethnicity, medical practice and regulatory policy. There are increasing needs for biostatisticians to interact with their foreign counterparts as colleagues, consultants, and mentors. While the language of biostatistics may be universal, there are possible speed bumps along the way in terms of cultural and operational differences. This roundtable will discuss recommendations for making interactions with the peers from overseas effective and mutually fruitful.
