Abstract:

The Statistics for Healthcare class at the University Of Central Oklahoma has a small section on quality concepts. This is motivated principally because the author (inspired by Kelley and Carey(Improving Quality With Control Charts, by Raymond Carey, Quality Press 03 and Kelley(How to use Control Charts In Healthcare, by D. Lynn Kelley, Quality Press 99) feels that QIS concepts relating to control charts will one day have an important role in an expanded concept of evidence based practice and because of his personal belief that it eases the understanding of other statistical concepts particularly with respect to hypothesis testing
