Abstract:

In tumor xenograft experiments, tumor response to the cytotoxic treatments is often assessed by the tumor growth delay (TGD), the difference of tumor quadrupling times between treatment and control. Tumor quadrupling times are however often subjected to the right censoring. In the literatures, the TGD is simply reported without given any statistical inference. In this talk, I will present several confidence interval estimators of TGD and discuss their application to censored tumor growth delay data.
