Abstract:
|
A Bayesian design was employed to a phase II proof of concept study with the time-to-event endpoint. The design used an informative prior based on the highly consistent historical data for the control arm. Markov chain Monte Carlo method was used to draw samples from the posterior distribution. This method significantly improved the design characteristics compared to the frequentist approach.
