Abstract:

Teaching large sections of Introductory Statistics is challenging. And getting students to participate is an even bigger challenge. So how do we design and implement activities in large classroom settings? How do we assess conceptual learning? How do we get active participation from students who have the attitude of "Feed me, I'm yours"? The panelists will address how we meet these challenges and our failures and successes in this environment.
