Abstract:

This presentation will begin by describing the development of ASA's Strategic Plan, and how it has guided presidential agendas since its adoption in 2008. Suggestions will be provided for how SPAIG (the Committee on Statistical Partnerships among Academe, Industry, and Government) can serve the plan's objectives, especially in the area of membership growth. The presentation will also discuss how the ASA's new committee structure enables all committees to work more closely with the ASA Board in accomplishing strategic goals.
