Various topics or issues in clinical trial practice will be covered in this roundtable discussion, including study design selection, Bayesian vs. frequentist approaches, adaptive designs, data collection and management, stopping rules, interim analysis and monitoring, missing data, competing risks, data analysis populations, multiplicity, and study results reporting. Time will be allotted for discussion of these topics as well as opportunities for comments on some good and bad statistical practice in this important application field. Participants also will have opportunity to talk about their experience and voice their take on these issues.
