Abstract:

One issue faced by all fee-for-service consultants is setting of rates. This issue is one faced by all consultants but there is very little information available about how to do this well. During this luncheon, we will discuss several approaches to setting of fees including on an hourly basis and on a per-project basis. In particular, we will discuss the formula used at one academic center that is used annually to adjust rates for increases in salaries and other costs.
