Abstract:

The design of optimal supply chain for clinical trials is one of today's biggest challenges due mainly to the factors listed: 1) High variability of the patient recruitment curve; 2) Increased complexity of the study protocol, i.e. adaptive multi-arm studies; 3) High variability in study investigator performance. In this talk, we will present a new framework to design an "aligned," "adaptive," "agile" and "optimal" - we call it A30 - supply chain to support any clinical trial, independently of specific therapeutic areas. We will conclude by providing specific examples of our success stories.
