Abstract:

The Raleigh-Cary metro area was recently named the fastest growing in the United States. We examine the changes in airline flight data for the Raleigh-Durham International airport (RDU) over the past two decades of population growth. This work was presented as a poster in the 2009 Data Expo sponsored by the ASA Sections on Statistical Computing and Statistical Graphics.
