Abstract:

We show the connection between different definitions of time dependent sensitivity and specificity in terms of concordance measures. We explore the relationship between such measures and their corresponding area under the ROC curve. An estimation procedure for a concordance measure is proposed and its asymptotic variance is derived. We compare our estimated variance with other variance estimation procedures presented in the literature. An application in the context of Alzheimer's disease is presented.
