Abstract:

The management and analysis of multi-gigabyte data sets continues to pose challenges for statisticians. This roundtable will focus on ways of addressing these challenges in the R statistical programming environment. Topics for discussion include visualization, data management through database-like interfaces, and the evolution of R and R packages to support the analysis of large data.
