Abstract:

Identifying and recruiting talented students to pursue a career in clinical statistics is an increasingly challenging task facing the ASA Biopharmaceutical Section. Related fields, such as computer science, engineering, and actuarial science enjoy a more prominent role in a student's career search and allow prospective graduate students a more immediate entry into the job market. To drive interest and recruitment in the field, the biopharmaceutical section is embarking upon an interactive outreach program. The core of this initiative is an information-rich, interactive website. The website, current status, and results of initiatives designed to drive traffic to the website will be presented.
