Abstract:

In this talk, a variety of fun in-class activities will be described that can be used to demonstrate key concepts throughout a statistics course. Most of these games were originally designed for an introductory statistics course, but many can be extended to more advanced courses as well. In addition to presenting several ideas, the talk will discuss how to properly prepare a class, avoid common pitfalls, and present grading rubrics.
