Abstract:

Normal distribution is one of the most widely used models in statistics. In this talk we will introduce a new powerful test for normality, in both the univariate and multivariate cases. The new test is affine invariant, simple to calculate, and works in any dimension. Results of simulations demonstrate that our new test outperforms best tests in the literature.
