Abstract:

Assessing the selective influence of amino acid properties is important in different applied scenarios. In this talk, we describe a suite of parametric Bayesian models that allow us to identify amino acid properties that influence molecular evolution. Among other advantages, these models automatically account for multiple comparisons and correlation across properties.
