Abstract:

Here, we modify an algorithm given in previous work (Fonseca, 2002) to compute the marginal eCDF (empirical cumulative distribution function) for values of one variable in bivariate correlated data, for which corresponding entries of the second variable having missing values. Calculating these marginal eCDFs in such data can allow investigators to employ methods, such as multiple imputation, for determining possible values for the missing entries. This algorithm can be extended to any multivariate data.
