Abstract:

We present several hypergraph representations of email communications and email text and we describe a term-document matrix as a hypergraph. We present a method for projecting both vertices and hyperedges to a low-dimensional space. Unlike other projection methods such as latent semantic indexing or multi-dimensional scaling, the projection method is computationally easy. To illustrate the method, we use the Enron email corpus.
