Abstract:

We introduce a new class of nonparametric ROC summary statistics which include most existing ROC statistics, and apply the new statistics to analyze multi-reader multi-test data and longitudinal data. Furthermore, we develop asymptotic results of the new statistics and extend the results to the aforementioned problems. In addition, since there is a natural connection between the Wilcoxon statistic and the AUC statistic, the authors study the relationship between the new statistics and Wilcoxon statistics for complex data structure.
