Abstract:

This research investigates Bayesian inference on networks. We consider several different prior distributions for directed graphs, including the ERGM class and the level-set class. Posterior distributions are obtained through simulation from the stationary distribution of a Markov chain. High dimensionality of the sample space causes serious problems; we shall also discuss algorithms that attempt to deal with these problems.
