Abstract:

There are generally two approaches for these problems. One is the likelihood approach, and the other is the Bayesian approach. This talk considers the problem of testing for constancy of parameters in logistic regression models using these two approaches. Asymptotic distribution theory for the tests is discussed. Results can be extended to a general set up of generalized linear models. Simulations are carried out to compare power of the proposed test with other options.
