Abstract:

A new generation of a medical device includes a feature that allowed physician to program baseline parameters to maximize the stroke volume. Was this acute gain in stroke volume as a result of measurement errors or the effect of this add-on new feature? A bootstrap simulation method was used to discover the cause.
