Abstract:

Model-eliciting activities are open-ended problems based on real-world problems and data that engage students in statistical thinking and prepare them to learn subsequent material at a deeper level. MEAs to be shared and discussed in this roundtable were developed as part of the NSF-funded CATALST project (Change Agents for Teaching and Learning Statistics).
