Abstract:

Bioanalytical method is a type of in vitro experiment that is typically conducted to measure the effect or activity of a substance or stimulus in a biological system, for estimating the nature, constitution, or potency of a material (or of a response), and it plays a very important role in developing a high quality vaccine and protein products. It is often very challenging to model and select an appropriate dose-repose curve (symmetry vs. asymmetry) and the weighting function for the bioassay analysis. We will discuss the practical and statistical issues and strategies in analyzing bioassay data.
