Abstract:
|
In this paper we describe how to deal with missing covariates for competing risks data. We suggest a procedure for estimating the cumulative incidence functions when there are missing data, and establish the large sample properties for models. The specific problem that motivated this work, was to assess the effect of matching HLA-haplotypes for donor and patient in bone marrow transplant studies when only the unphased genotype is observed and patients and donor are genotype matched. We consider a flexible class of regression models where some effects may vary with time and others are constant.
