Abstract:
|
The success of each step in Goodman's long and difficult journey from the swamps of competition to the mountaintops of collaboration depends on an interaction of two or more people. The chances of a success are directly related to the strength of relationship(s) between (among) the people involved. Relationships can be intentionally developed and strengthened, even when "chemistry" is missing. One of the challenges on the journey is that breakdowns will naturally occur. What happens after a breakdown occurs is critical. A process for rapidly recovering from breakdowns will be discussed. Working and synergistic relationships will be explored. Day-to-day challenges will be examined for the lessons they offer to climbers.
