Abstract:
|
The performance of the polls in election years is a marker for the quality of work in the profession generally. The accuracy of published polls in general elections has been very good, but this year there were some estimation problems in the early primary and caucus polls. This paper will discuss range of sources of such error and whether they might present problems for the fall election.
