Abstract:

The application of adaptive designs has recently been studied and intensely debated in the development of drug products. In this talk, we will discuss the sample size estimation in group sequential designs versus the untraditional adaptive designs for vaccine development. Clinical trial simulations and a real vaccine clinical trial will be used to illustrate our points.
