| East 4: a Comprehensive Package for Adaptive and Group Sequential Design, Interim Monitoring, and Simulation - Continuing Education - CTW | ||
The ASA |
| Instructor(s): Cyrus Mehta, Cytel Inc. | ||
| Cytel will release a major upgrade of the East software package for design, interim monitoring, and simulation of adaptive and group sequential clinical trials. The new software provides a comprehensive set of design and monitoring tools for most clinical trials that one is likely to encounter including one, two, and K-sample designs and regression models for normal, binomial, and time-to-event endpoints. New analytical and simulation capabilities are provided for the survival setting, which can accommodate nonuniform accrual, varying hazard rates, and drop-outs. The software will support both group sequential designs, where early stopping is the goal, and adaptive designs, where sample size re-estimation is the goal. | ||
