Invited Session Overview

Submission of invited session proposals for JSM 2006 is now closed.

Invited Speaker Registration

Chairs, speakers, panelists, and discussants for invited sessions will need to submit payment of the registration fee by the February 1, 2006 deadline.

Nonrefundable Registration Fee – When you submit an abstract for JSM 2005 you are agreeing to present a paper and asking to have time scheduled for your presentation. Accordingly, you are required to submit a nonrefundable registration fee. The deadline date for payment and abstract submission is February 1, 2006. If, for legitimate organizational reasons, a speaker’s travel funding is not approved by his/her institution, the JSM registration office will refund the speaker’s registration fee (less a processing fee) and withdraw the abstract from the program, provided the JSM registration office is notified in writing (via email to jsm@amstat.org).

Withdrawals – An individual who fails to present a scheduled paper does a disservice to all those who organize and attend the meetings. Please provide the earliest possible notification if you are not able to present a scheduled paper. We reserve the right to exclude from the schedules of future meetings those who fail to withdraw papers in a timely fashion. The registration fee submitted with all abstracts is nonrefundable.
