Statistical Analysis with the GLIMMIX Procedure - Continuing Education - CTW
ASA
Instructor(s): Oliver Schabenberger, SAS Institute, Inc.
This Computer Technology Workshop (CTW) focuses on the new GLIMMIX procedure in SAS/STAT software. In the first part of the course, the types of models fit with the GLIMMIX procedure are presented and the inferential approaches are discussed. Participants will learn to translate a statistical model into GLIMMIX syntax and will be enabled to understand the estimation and inference techniques that apply to a particular class of models. The second part of the course discusses syntax, analytic and graphical output for standard analyses. In the last part of the course, some of the advanced features of PROC GLIMMIX will be presented through applications from a variety of fields. This includes, for example, mixed model smoothing and multiplicity adjustments for testing complex linear hypotheses. This CTW requires basic knowledge of linear mixed models and the MIXED procedure in SAS.
