East v4: A Comprehensive Package for Adaptive and Group Sequential Design, Interim Monitoring and Simulation - Continuing Education - CTW
ASA
Instructor(s): Cyrus R. Mehta, Cytel Software
We will release East-4, a major upgrade of the East software package for design, interim monitoring and simulation of adaptive and group sequential clinical trials. The new software provides a comprehensive set of design and monitoring tools for most clinical trials that one is likely to encounter including one, two and K-sample designs and regression models for normal, binomial and time to event endpoints. New analytical and simulation capabilities are provided for the survival setting which can accommodate non uniform accrual, varying hazard rates and drop-outs. The software will support both group sequential designs, where early stopping is the goal, and adaptive designs, where sample size re-estimation is the goal.
