Abstract:

A goal of statistical disclosure limitation is to develop and utilize statistical methods and tools to achieve a balance between protection of sensitive information and availability of sufficient data that allow for proper statistical inference. We explore the effects of partial data releases that come in a form of arbitrary sets of marginals and conditionals for disclosure limitation in multiway contingency tables. We also discuss implications of recent results on bounds on cell entries for evaluating these effects.
