Abstract - #304051
Title: Global Benefit-risk Measure as a Tool for Drug Assessment
Author(s): Richard Entsuah*+
Companies: Wyeth
Address: 125 Gwynmont Drive, North Wales, PA, 19454, United States
Keywords: Global Benefit Risk Analysis
Abstract:

Quantifying simultaneously primary efficacy variable and multiple safety differences between drugs is challenging as methods to assess this benefit and risk are lacking. A Global Benefit Risk (GBR) ratio and linear measures will be discussed. These are an extension of the method developed by Chuang-Stein et al. (1991). The GBR measure will be compared to other methods and applied to clinical data.
