Title: Coming to Terms with DOE Models
Author(s): Rob Kelly*+
Companies: Minitab, Inc.
Address: 1829 Pine Hall Road, State College, PA, 16801-3008, United States
Keywords: Design of experiments ; statistical model ; statistical significance ; practical significance
Abstract:

Analyzing the results of a designed experiment is not as simple as dropping all the terms with a P-value greater than 0.05. You need to keep in mind a number of statistical principles and, above all, the practical purpose of your experiment. In this roundtable discussion, we will talk about the statistical thinking that goes into a good DOE analysis and the experiences of discussants coming to terms with their DOE models.
