Currently included in this program is the "technical" program, schedule of invited, topic contributed, regular contributed and poster sessions; Continuing Education courses (August 7-10, 2005); and Committee and Business Meetings. This on-line program will be updated frequently to reflect the most current revisions.

Statistics is a core course in business education and often a prerequisite for advanced courses such as business research. The objective of the business curriculum is to bestow on the manager the skills of critical thinking, data collection, information synthesis, analysis, and communication---all part of research education. This paper speaks about the necessity of integrating research skills into courses that are prerequisites for business research. In particular, it discusses the needed emphasis on statistics as a research tool and using the basic information technology course as an aid for both statistics and research methodology courses.
