Abstract:

Mixture experiments are commonly encountered in the chemical, process, and pharmaceutical industries. The presence of process variables along with mixture components also is frequently encountered. This presentation addresses mixture-process experiments that involve noise variables. Various aspects of modeling, analyzing, and evaluating these types of experimental situations will be discussed along with suggestions for future research.
