Abstract:

Models and inference for longitudinal data often consider different types of responses independently. However, this can result in loss of efficiency and potential biases, especially in the context of data not missing completely at random. This talk will discuss models that directly model the marginal effect of covariates on responses in the setting of multivariate longitudinal binary data. These models will be illustrated using data from the Iowa Youth and Families Project. If time permits, extension of these methods to ordinal data will be discussed.
