Linear, Generalized Linear and Nonlinear Mixed Models: Charting a Course Through the SAS System - Continuing Ed
ASA | ||
Instructor(s): Oliver Schabenberger, SAS Institute, Inc.
This workshop focuses on the mixed model tools in SAS. Various classes of mixed models and relevant estimation methods are introduced. These are supported with mixed model procedures (MIXED and MLMIXED) and macros (%GLIMMIX and % NLINMIX). Participants will gain understanding of the advantages of a particular methodological approach ad its software implementation. The second part of the workshop concentrates on computational problems that users may encounter and their remedies. In particular the effects of scaling, reparameterization, and conditioning on efficiency, numerical stability, and convergence behavior are discussed. This workshop requires basic knowledge of linear mixed models and the MIXED procedure in SAS. Fee: Everyone - $50.00
