Introduction to Regression Modeling of Time to Event Data - Continuing Ed
ASA
Instructor(s): David W. Hosmer, University of Massachusetts
The goal of this course is to provide participants with an introduction into the use of regression models to analyze time to event or survival data. Particular emphasis is placed on the use of the proportional hazards mode with right censored data. The course emphasizes methods and their applications not theory. Topics to be covered include: regression model formulation, interpretation of model parameters, model building strategies, testing model assumptions, assessing model fit, presenting the results of a fitted model and, if time permits, time-varying covariates.
