Design and Analysis of Cross-Over Trials - Continuing Ed

The course will provide a thorough introduction to the statistical design and analysis of cross-over trials and will be illustrated throughout with numerous examples taken from real pharmaceutical and other trials. Examples of code to undertake analyses using the SAS (copyright) statistical analysis system will be given. The topics to be covered include : The 2 x 2 trial - analysis of continuous, binary and categorical data, nonparametric and Bayesian analyses, preliminary testing for carry-over. Designs for two treatments with more than two periods or sequences. Designs for three or more treatments. Analysis of continuous and categorical data for general cross-over trials. Bioequivalence testing.
