Abstract #300618

This is the preliminary program for the 2003 Joint Statistical Meetings in San Francisco, California. Currently included in this program is the "technical" program, schedule of invited, topic contributed, regular contributed and poster sessions; Continuing Education courses (August 2-5, 2003); and Committee and Business Meetings. This on-line program will be updated frequently to reflect the most current revisions.

Abstract:

Current status data arise when each study subject is observed only once and the survival time of interest is known only to be less or greater than the observation time. Such data often occur in, for example, cross-sectional studies, demographical investigations and tumorgenecity experiments. This paper discusses regression analysis of current status data when observation times may be related to the underlying survival time. Inference procedures are proposed for estimating regression parameters under the additive hazards regression model. The procedures can be easily implemented and the properties of the proposed estimates of regression parameters are given. An illustrative example is discussed.
