Abstract:

This talk will give a brief overview of M-estimation methods that are appropriate for ANOVA and regression models with clinical trial data. This includes generalized Wald, score, and likelihood ratio tests and confidence intervals. The advantage of these methods over least squares is similar to that of the Wilcoxon rank sum test compared to the t test.
