Address: 1185 Yorkwood Rd., Mansfield, OH, 44907-2436,
Keywords: Binary Data ; Association Measure ; Optimal Design ; Partially Balanced Array
Abstract:

A class of association measures of binary arrays is introduced. The Hamming distance and Jaccard-Tanimoto similarity index are discussed as special cases. Generalized versions of the Hamming distance and Tanimoto coefficient are introduced. The Minimum Contamination and Generalized Minimum Aberration optimality criterion for non-regular factorial designs in two levels are also discussed as special cases. A relationship to the index set of Extended PB1 and Partially Balanced arrays is given.
