Abstract:

We propose the weighted LAD (least absolute deviations) estimator for multi-dimensional contingency tables, and we suggest an iterative estimation method to estimate the proposed estimator. To illustrate the properties of the estimator, simulation results are presented for A log-linear model. An example is also introduced.
