Abstract:

The Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness-of-fit test for the logistic model is well known when data are obtained from a simple random survey. The procedure involves grouping of the observations based on the expected probabilities and then testing the hypothesis that the difference between observed and expected events is simultaneously zero for all the groups. We consider the weighted analog of the hypothesis and propose a test that accounts for the sample design. Some simulation results are also presented.
