Abstract:

Spatial analytic methods often develop independently across application areas, resulting in different approaches developing in different fields to address similar problems. We will review spatial questions from ecology, climate, and environmental health research, and discuss similarities and differences in datasets, data quality, and analytic goals to provide better cross-fertilization between statistical methods motivated by different fields.
